"My work centers itself around two things. Indigenous futurism, which envisions what my mayan ancestors from Honduras would wear in a future where colonialism never took place. And spirals which reflect the different cycles/states within my inner being. My vision redefines the colonial ideologies of sacred indigenous jewelry beyond what’s seen in history museums/books. Intertwining traditional hand craftsmanship and science fiction to offer a variety of creativity possibilities surrounding the infinite spirals that is a constant theme in my work.⠀

Beyond my own work I aim to center and uplift LGBTQIA+ jewelers and metalsmiths within our industry to create space, resources and community."
