Queer Metalsmiths is excited to collaborate with SNAG (Society of North American Goldsmiths) on the 2026 In Focus exhibition - a curated digital showcase dedicated to spotlighting BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ artists from underappreciated communities who are redefining the future of jewelry and metalsmithing.

In Focus 2026 will be featured as a digital showcase during the 2026 SNAG x Detroit conference with a selection of works displayed in person. The exhibition will live in a permanent virtual gallery on both the Queer Metalsmiths and SNAG websites.

If you’re attending the conference, we will also be taking part in several programs:

• June 10-13th: We are hosting an in person exhibition highlight of In Focus in Adorned Spaces.

• June 12th: Join QM co-founder Tracey Carswell , juror Meesh Flowers, In Focus artists Chun An Huai, Mia Ferraro, and Pavonis Giron for a special Panel Discussion:
